Peak Pursuit is a different kind of running club, born from the idea that trail running offers a different experience to pounding the roads, and everyone should have access to it. Expansive countryside routes are much more attainable in and around London than most people realise. We exist to give a reason to access them more regularly.
Our purpose is social first, always! We seek to combine the well-known benefits of community with activity and nature to get more out of urban life. We measure success by enjoyment and friendships made, rather than our splits per km. The pace is friendly and inclusive, so you don't have to be a serious runner - we want all abilities to join us!
We run as a group at least twice a month. Sessions are organised and released on our site and Instagram well ahead of time. Simply check out the best sessions that work for you, complete our short booking form to let us know that you’re coming and you’ll be part of our Whatsapp and email groups for the full details.
What is Peak Pursuit?
Peak Pursuit is a running community that provides regular opportunities and reasons to run in natural landscapes in and around London.
Every run is at a social pace and we stop for a coffee and pastry after every run to carry on the great conversations.
Our most frequent location is Richmond Park, with opportunities to venture to routes in both the North and South Downs, as well as the Surrey Hills. All routes are easily accessible from London in under an hour.
How do I get involved?
We release each group of sessions in batches. They are always listed and available to book on our site. As mentioned above, most sessions take place in Richmond Park, and these are always free to attend. There are small costs incurred for sessions that are further away, and these always include your travel to and from the start of the run. We travel to and from these sessions as a group from Clapham Junction Station.The booking process for each session is super simple:

When are the runs?
We typically provide 2 running sessions per month, usually a couple of weeks apart.
All details are clear on our site, Instagram and Whatsapp group. We want to provide the opportunity for our community to plan ahead and use our sessions to compliment any other training plans, or running groups that you may be part of.
